The Meisterstück Around the World in 80 Days collection draws inspiration from the famous adventure novel by Jules Verne, "Around the World in 80 Days." The Classique fountain pen, crafted in exquisite anthracite resin, is inspired by the second leg of the journey from Bombay to Yokohama, where the protagonists travel on a majestic elephant, which is depicted on a cartouche on the cap. The clip features a lacquered red diamond and the cone is decorated with a motif inspired by Princess Auda's jewels and playing card suits, symbolizing Fogg's bet to complete the journey in 80 days. At the top of the cap, there is an engraving of the duration of the journey, with a prominent emphasis on the 25 days taken from Bombay to Yokohama and the total of 80 days. The fountain pen is completed with a 14K gold nib, adorned with a hot air balloon and the dates 20/10 and 14/11, representing Fogg's departures from Bombay on October 20th at 20:00 and from Yokohama on November 14th at 18:00.
