GINORI
ART ON TABLE
Exploring the Venini catalog means immersing oneself in a universe of fluid forms and kaleidoscopes of colors, made possible by the mastery of Murano glass, with its richness of nuances and potentialities, and by the incredible creativity and skill of those who have shaped each individual piece. For over ninety years, since 1921, when Milanese lawyer Paolo Venini and Venetian antiquarian Giacomo Cappellin founded Cappellin Venini & C., the company has constantly evolved.
Under the guidance of painter Vittorio Zecchin, the first artistic director, the foundations of a unique style were laid, characterized by the reinvention of traditional models, curiosity for new artistic techniques, and mastery in the art of glassmaking, permeated by genius and a desire for innovation. Under the artistic direction of Napoleone Martinuzzi, the company became Vetri Soffiati Muranesi Venini & C., while with Tommaso Buzzi and the arrival of world-renowned artists such as Gio Ponti and Carlo Scarpa, Venini achieved great artistic success, with numerous participations in the Venice Biennale. Collaborations with prominent figures such as Alessandro Mendini, Ettore Sottsass, and many others have continued to shape the brand over the years.
The Venini universe is a constant laboratory of ideas and experiments, guided by the brightest minds in the fields of design and art. Today, as always, Venini represents the art of shaping glass in its purest and most innovative form. At the Salvadori store in Prato, you can find a carefully curated selection of vases, chandeliers, lamps, and other Venini items, to find the perfect piece to enhance your home environment.
